feel under the weather.. it’s late, perhaps I’ll try and write a little.

Helped ail a terrible mood last Friday by making this video… My music mixed w/some lite fm hits.
It’s 4:16 a.m.
I woke up about 15 minutes ago and smelled gas. I got up and looked at the stove and sure enough, one of the burners hadn’t been shut off. I guess it must have been on for 6 hours or so?
I shut it off and slammed all the windows open but now I don’t want to go back to bed till I don’t feel dizzy anymore.
I love my life.
When I opened the kitchen window, a pigeon was sitting on the ledge, looking at me, making that pigeon sound. I don’t have screens. I closed the window, and it squawked like I hurt its feelings and flew away. I opened the window again. The pigeon and its siblings have yet to return.
About 10 feet from my window is another apartment builidng. Now with the windows wide open, I overhear a loud but muffled conversation that if I’m not mistaken belongs to an older woman and the a guy she just met in a bar and followed home. There’s an estranged quality to her voice which makes me believe it’s not her apartment.
The voices got gruffer, more awake, and now my place reeks of cigarette smoke. I was wrong about the couple, they’ve been together for years, it’s a mother and her son, it’s a whole party.
I think if I go to bed now, I’ll make it through the night.
